Tattoos and piercings may no longer be the sole preserve of badasses, but don’t let that fool you – there’s nothing mainstream about The Prodigy and Slayer. Both bands pack an aural punch and are coming right for us.
Celebrating the recent release of their seventh studio album, No Tourists, The Prodigy (above) are set to start some explosive electronic-music fires at Trusts Arena. Says singer Liam Howlett: “Once again, [it’s] time to bring the ruckus!”
Meanwhile, Slayer are also laundering their best black tees in preparation for flying downunder. One of heavy metal’s founding ‘Big Four’ bands, they’ve held their own as punk-thrash kings for almost 37 years, and this is your last chance to see them live – they’re bowing out with a bang after announcing their retirement early last year.
