New Zealand Fashion Week was rife with designers, models, hairstylists. But our digital ed went on the hunt to find out what real people thought about it all.

The people in Auckland completely won me over. After several sweeps around the European fashion week circuit, when used to cover them for Russian Cosmo and Marie Claire, I expected the same sorts of fashionistas here: so busy taking selfies on the front row, that they barely knew the name of the designers. #NZFW2017 proved me wrong. No cameras, no extreme wardrobes and lots of smiles.

The ANZ Viaduct Events Centre just screamed fashion. I ran into several designers, bloggers and models whilst casually waiting for my morning coffee. Only everyone looked a bit different from the other fashion weeks: natural, honest and positive. Which is exactly why my husband, Alex and I, love New Zealand (we moved here just over a year ago).

We were up at #NZFW2017 with UNO. to check out the action.
