LOCAL WILD FOOD CHALLENGE: Competitors forage, hunt, sh, and gather to create the best wild food dish.
Hot, cold, liquid, frozen, raw, marinated, smoked, seared, preserved – anything goes in this celebration of resourcefulness. A fun day of demonstrations and live music.

MOXI CAFÉ, OHOPE: This new kid on the block is the complete package – great co ee, food, service, and a super cool t- out.
L’EPICERIE, AND L’EPICERIE LARDER, WHAKATĀNE: The town’s well-known, authentic French café, L’Epicerie, has opened L’Epicerie Larder, a deli and café with delights direct from France. Take away for a beach picnic, or dine in at the new outdoor courtyard.
