Friday 28th July — Easy Rider at Cult Cinema Club

Feel­ing like a cosy, laid back Fri­day evening? Check out Cult Cin­e­ma Club. Kim­ber­ley Cle­land and Melanie Mills have cre­at­ed a unique space for film buffs: movies, cool snacks and drinks all set in the love­ly cob­bled streets of the His­toric Vil­lage. It’s a bit like a fun pyja­ma par­ty, but not at home! Each two weeks, Cult Cin­e­ma shows a clas­sic movie. Today, it’s Easy Rid­er. Who doesn’t love a good old Amer­i­can road-trip?! The film starts at 7.30 pm but come ear­ly and stock up on hot choco­late,  cook­ies and plen­ty of oth­er good­ies (served from 5.30 pm).

Sunday 30th July — Katikati walkways

Get some exer­cise! A great rea­son to vis­it Katikati — the one and only Haiku Path­way. Imag­ine walk­ing, admir­ing nature and read­ing at the same time. Talk­ing about nature — this Sun­day at 9 am, you can also vol­un­teer to count robins, the cute native birds final­ly back in Aon­gatete Forest. Drop an email to if you are keen.
